Wesleyan Christian School is entering an exciting new chapter with Curt Cloud stepping into the role of superintendent. A longtime fixture at the school, Cloud brings over 30 years of experience in education—including 17 years at Wesleyan Christian—and previously served six years as a superintendent elsewhere.

Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, Cloud said, "Enrollment is at a high this year, with projections of around 450 students. We’re seeing strong growth,” Cloud added. “We’ve added second sections to kindergarten and fifth grade, giving us two full classes at every grade level for the first time.”

The school has creatively expanded classroom space using other campus buildings and remodeling existing areas, including its multipurpose building to meet the increased demand. That facility, which is used for everything from church services and musicals to volleyball tournaments and graduations, is now in constant use.

Wesleyan Christian is also preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year. The school began in a church basement in 1976 and now serves students from Pre-K through 12th grade, with over 125 high schoolers expected this fall.

At the heart of the school’s mission, Cloud emphasized, is its commitment to biblical integration and strong student-teacher relationships. “We’re helping parents train their kids biblically, not just academically,” he said. “It’s about preparing students for life and eternity.”

Wesleyan Christian offers a robust extracurricular program, including athletics, music, drama, and more. For more information, visit www.wesleyanchristianschool.com.
