Bartlesville High football is entering the final stretch of summer workouts, as fall camp will start within the next three weeks.

The Bruins have been hard at work at team camps, 7-on-7 weekly matchups, tournaments and summer pride lifting.

As far as 7-on-7 competitions, the Bruins have again been in a few tournaments with solid results. Head coach Harry Wright says his team again went to Stillwater and competed against dozens of other Oklahoma clubs.

One position group that doesn’t get to compete during 7-on-7 at all is the offensive line. The Bruins were young all over the field last fall, and the OL was no different.

Wright says he hopes that experience from a year ago will pay off for a few of the big boys up front this fall. Wright details what the offensive line has been up to this summer.

Bartlesville will again have its Night of Champions at the end of this month before fall practices start about a week and a half later.

The Bruins open 2025 at home against Newcastle on Aug. 29.
