Bartlesville City Council to Meet Monday Evening

The Bartlesville City Council will meet Monday evening, with several items on the agenda for possible action.
The council is expected to hear an update from the Unsheltered Homeless Task Force on the continued progress to address concerns of the community. Additionally, the council is expected to discuss and possibly approve new rates for Adams Golf Course.
The council is also expected to hear a presentation on potential election timelines for citizens to vote on the renewal of the ½ cent sales tax, general obligation bonds and economic development tax. In addition, council members will be asked to discuss and take possible action on council priorities for the city’s strategic plan.
In other business, the council is expected to act on several general items, including citizen appointments to various boards, the purchase of a new $850,000 fire engine, bids for street rehabilitation projects and an appeal on demolition of a dilapidated structure in the 1000 block of Oak Avenue.
Monday’s meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Bartlesville City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.
