Bartlesville, Dewey, and Nowata are gearing up for festive Fourth of July celebrations, while Copan’s fireworks have been postponed to Labor Day due to high lake levels.
Bartlesville Kiwanis will host its annual Freedom Fest celebration at Sooner Park starting at 5 p.m. Fireworks cap off the night at 9:30 p.m., synchronized to music on KYFM. Our radio broadcast from Freedom Fest is sponsored by: Crafty Candle Shoppe, American Heritage Beef, Sweazey Realty, Totah Communications-Totel CSI-Bartnet IP, Arvest Bank, Dewey Medicalodges, OK Federal Credit Union, Rainey Sister Donuts and Deli, Rainey's Cusom Butchering, Rainey's Meat Market in Nowata, Robin Mackey's Photography, Fries and Fries PC, and Watters Heat and Air.
Nowata’s festivities kick off at noon in Jack Gordon Park with a catfish fundraiser, live music from Jason Goodell and Jason Randall, and pulled pork sandwiches. Fireworks will follow at sundown, with KRIG 104.9 FM broadcasting live from noon to 2 p.m. sponsored by American Heritage Beef Company, Totah Communications, Totel CSI, Bartnet IP, City Nowata City Drug, Apex Clean Energy, Arvest Bank, Rainey's Custom Butchering, Rainey's Meat Market in Nowata, Robin Mackey's Photography, Tripp's Bar, Oklahoma Farm Bureau Agent Heather Kiser and Nowata Automotive
Dewey will celebrate at Don Tyler Park with food, free watermelon, and music by the Garrett Brown Band.
