Cavalcade Coming Up in Pawhuska

We are less than two weeks away from the 79th annual Cavalcade Rodeo in Pawhuska, which is dubbed the world’s largest amateur rodeo. Events will start at the Osage County Fairgrounds on Monday, July 14th with the queen’s horsemanship contest and continue all week long.

A morning rodeo performance will take place at the fairgrounds on Tuesday and a street dance in downtown Pawhuska will take commence at 8:30 p.m. Quin Peterson is set to perform.

Morning and evening rodeo performances will take place at the fairgrounds on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Blaine Bailey will have a concert on Wednesday, Carson Jeffrey will perform on Thursday evening and Jason Boland and the Stragglers will finish the rodeo events on Friday.

The Cavalcade Parade will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday. There will be an evening rodeo performance at 7 p.m. and Roger Creager will conclude the night with a concert.

The rodeo finals will start at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
