Fourth of July Weekend at Dewey Hotel Museum: Storytelling and a Movie

Tom Davis
Dewey Hotel Museum is gearing up for a July 4th weekend of free community events starting with a storytelling presentation of July 4th stories at 11am on Friday morning of July 4th.
Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, Joe Sears with the historic Dewey Hotel Museum invited everyone to the hotel lobby on July 4th at 11am to listen to historian Diane Fallis for a short session of stories that will stir and inspire that American independence spirit. Please bring your family and a small donation and enjoy some of the stories of how our Oklahoma ancenstors celebrated Indepence Days in very unique ways.
Sears then invited everyone back on Saturday, July 5th, as the historic Dewey Hotel Museum will be showing “The Music Man” as part of their Family Film Festival. The free showing will be at 8pm outside the hotel with their provided chair seating and big screen. Concessions available.
