More offseason news for the NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder came out early this week, as OKC announced that Jalen Williams underwent wrist surgery last week.

Williams was evidently playing with a torn ligament in his wrist since early April.

General Manager Sam Presti had his year-end press conference on Monday and talks about the injury.

It was a lot of well-earned victory laps for Presti at the press conference, who tried to explain why this past season’s Thunder club resonated so well in Oklahoma.

Many of OKC’s main core is eligible for contract extensions, while NBA free agency is also set to begin, so there will be more offseason news to come.
