Dewey Football in Full Swing in Summer

Brian McSweeney
Summer pride has about a week left for the Dewey Bulldoggers before the OSSAA mandated dead period, as Dewey football will enter year one under head coach Scott Sapulpa.
Through a few weeks of summer workouts, Sapulpa says it's a good time to be a Dogger.
Dewey went 2-8 in the final season of former head coach Ryan Richardson last fall, but will return a handful of players from last year's team.
Dewey is set to open against Locust Grove on Aug. 29 at home. Sapulpa highlighted a few games on the schedule that stand out.
Dewey's non-district opponents include Checotah along with Perkins and Locust Grove. Check out a preview of the schedule here.
