A new law will go into effect next week that will give members of the Oklahoma National Guard more educational opportunities. This is being done in an effort so that service members will have cheaper options and better opportunities to get certificates in vocational schooling.  

Representative Judd Strom had the following to say on the new law going into effect for the National Guard members:

“Supporting our National Guard members as they pursue education and career advancement is the right thing to do. This new law creates a clear path for guard members to develop valuable skills while continuing their commitment to serve.”

This bill will officially go into effect on Tuesday.
