City of Nowata Announces Upcoming Events

The City of Nowata is reminding residents of upcoming events and news, according to a Facebook post from the city.
The City of Nowata announced on Monday that they will offer limb pickup service for elderly and handicapped citizens. Work orders must be placed by Friday, June 27.
Nowata will not require permits to shoot off fireworks within city limits on July 3 or July 4, but does require that no fireworks be shot after 11 p.m. on both days.
The Great Nowata Water Fight has been announced for July 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and the Fourth of July celebration will start at noon.
