Sheriff Perrier Requesting Funding for New Vehicles

Osage County Sheriff Bart Perrier informed the County Commissioners on Monday that 11 vehicles in their fleet is considered high mileage, which is anything with more than 200,000 miles.
Perrier says he would like to sell most of those vehicles and he has six vehicles earmarked that Perrier would like to purchase. Perrier was asking the Board for help in purchasing those funds and Chairman Charlie Cartwright said he would need to think on it.
Perrier said you could table it, but the price wasn't guaranteed to stay where it is at.
Not knowing exactly how much it would cost the county, Cartwright said he needed a week to think on it so the commissioners tabled the item for a week.
