The NBA Champions are from Oklahoma.

OKC beat the Indiana Pacers in game seven of the NBA Finals last night, 103-91.

One of the final calls as heard on Sunday night on ABC.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won the Finals MVP. It was another SGA masterclass again last night – 29 points, 12 assists. SGA wins the NBA scoring title, league MVP and Finals MVP in the same season.

This three-pointer in the fourth quarter helped extend the Oklahoma City lead.

A big end of the third quarter and start of the fourth propelled the Thunder. OKC was down by one at halftime. The Pacers had 23 turnovers to only eight for Oklahoma City. The Thunder turned those 23 turnovers into 32 points.

Early in the game Indiana star Tyreese Haliburton went down with an apparent lower leg injury and did not return.

The Thunder wins the NBA title despite being the second youngest team to ever qualify for the Finals. Most of the core of the team will be in Oklahoma for at least the next 3-5 years.

The only OKC player to have a previous title, Alex Caruso, says now the Thunder has the experience for the future.

It was defense again that spurred Oklahoma City. The Thunder held Indiana to 91 points, its lowest output in the playoffs, and just 41-percent shooting.

SGA postgame says the organization prioritizes the right things.

The parade will be Tuesday morning in downtown Oklahoma City.

You can hear more talk all day long about the Thunder title on Sports Talk 99.1 FM – KPGM, as we will have coverage of the Sports Animal starting at 8:00 AM on Monday morning.
