Bartlesville Woman Charged With Assault

A Bartlesville woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly hitting someone's car with a shovel.
 
65-year-old Twila Cupp was charged on Thursday with assault and battery on a police officer and assault with a dangerous weapon.
 
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on June 18, Cupp allegedly struck the hood of the victim's car with a shovel. Officers on the scene allegedly noticed dents on the hood of the vehicle and a shovel laying near the front door of the residence.
 
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, Cupp was allegedly angry and yelling at police. Cupp also allegedly kicked the dogs inside the residence when police and the victim would approach the front door.
 
Cupp will appear in court again on July 11 at 9 a.m. Her bond is set at $15,000.
