Tulsa Woman Facing Felony Fraud Charge

A Tulsa woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly obtaining a natural disaster relief check fraudulently.
30-year-old Kaylynn Viles was charged on Wednesday with obtaining money by false representation.
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on May 9, 2024, Viles allegedly applied for an online disaster relief loan at a Bartlesville credit union and was approved for a $1,500 loan. The address Viles provided allegedly did not match her current residence.
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on June 7, 2024, Viles allegedly processed a $1,500 check. The check allegedly belonged to another person.
A warrant was issed for Viles' arrest in July of 2024.
Viles will appear in court again on July 11 at 9 a.m. Her bond is set at $2,500.
