Nowata Co. Commissioners Approve Budget

The Nowata County Commissioners met on Monday morning at the Nowata County Annex.
The commissioners wrapped up and approved the general fund budget for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year and the sales tax budget for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year.
The commissioners announced that there will be mandatory policy board meetings on the third Tuesday of every month for elected officials in the county. Only one commissioner is allowed to attend.
An announcement was made that there will be a vote for a $1.3 million bond issue for South Coffeyville Schools and a vote for the City of Nowata in September on the 1-cent sales tax.
The Nowata County Commissioners meet every Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the Nowata County Annex.
