The Doenges Toyota Indians are in Arkansas and getting set for their first day of action in the Twin Lakes Classic baseball tournament on Thursday evening.

The Tribe made the nearly five-hour road trip on Wednesday afternoon and will stay in cabins on the lake getting set for a weekend of baseball.

The Indians have historically had success in this event. Bartlesville has qualified for the final day of action three times, including a finals appearance in 2021. Bartlesville made the semifinals last year.

Just as in Northeast Oklahoma, there is a lot of rain in the forecast for North Central Arkansas this weekend, which could have some impact on the schedule.

Thursday the Indians are scheduled to go at 5:00 in pool play day one, The Tribe will take on Pontotoc, Mississippi, the team that eliminated them from contention last year.

We will have that game on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. Video coverage on KWONTV.com.
