Nearly a month ago the Bartlesville Sports Commission announced its Bartlesville Sports Hall of Fame 2025 class, as a new batch of inductees will officially be put in the Hall of Fame during a ceremony in the fall.

Chairman of the BSC, Chris Batchelder, lauded the class as one of the best in recent memory. 

Former Bruin basketball standout Noah Hartsock, Bruin basketball coach Gerald Thompson, gymnast Mike Epperson and the 1969 Doenges Injuns are this year’s nominees.

Batchelder talks about Epperson, and says that the gymnastics history in Bartlesville needs some more attention.

Meanwhile the 1969 Injuns are arguably one of the best teams in the nearly 90-year program history. Batchelder goes over a few highlights from that summer in Bartlesville.

The ceremony will take place on Friday, Oct. 3 at the Center in downtown Bartlesville.
