Let’s talk some Bartlesville High basketball, as the Bruins are starting some of the summer portion of their workouts over the past week.

According to a post on social media, first-year head coach Jake Christenson helped the Bruins to a winning record during some of their play in camps last week.

BHS returns all but one of their main cogs off a team that won three games a season ago. When he was hired in April, Christenson talked about the playing style he would like to implement at Bruin Field House this winter. 

As of last year, the Bruins had a stable of guards and wing players, but not much in the way of towering height available in the starting lineup or on the bench.

Christenson says that the way the Bruins play will certainly be dictated by personnel, but he hopes they will play a particular way.
