Severe Storms Likely Late Week

After receiving over 2 inches of rain in some areas and high winds locally, we are bracing for still more potential severe weather.
A series of strong thunderstorms is expected to impact eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas beginning Thursday night and continuing into early Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The first round is expected Thursday night into Friday morning, bringing threats of large hail and damaging winds. A second thunderstorm complex may persist Friday morning, continuing the risk for strong winds.
The most significant threat is forecast overnight Friday into early Saturday, with storms capable of producing damaging winds up to 75 mph, large hail, heavy rain, and a limited tornado threat.
