34th Annual Dewey Antique Show comes to the Washington County Fairgrounds at 1109 N Delaware St., in Dewey on on Saturday, June 7, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, Gail Inman, co-manager of the antique show, said, "We have things that people can buy for a dollar, especially if a kid or an adult kid is collecting Viewmaster reels. There's Viewmaster reels, there's Hot Wheel cars, and then we have sold items. We've had one dealer a couple years ago sold an item that was $25,000, so you can get any price range."

Gail said the Antiques and Collectibles Association has a table at the event where they will give away reference books that dealers are not using anymore that you can have for a donation. According to Gail, "They're still a really, really good research source. Plus, this year we're gonna have a doll table. If people want to donate some money for these dolls, they're welcome to do it. If they don't, they can just take a doll." She added, "We have 40 actual dealers, but we have 63 booths, so we're really excited about that."

Gail said there is an admission fee of $5. This goes toward funding to many local non-profits through the Antique and Collectible Association. This includes scholarships for high school students as well as donations to the four area FFA's, elementary school clothes closets, foster childres, ARF and SCPCA, and other community needs.
