A Chelsea woman was killed Thursday morning in a Rogers County two-vehicle wreck.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says just after 10:30 a.m., 60-year-old Francis Altman pulled out of a private drive and into oncoming traffic on Highway 28, three miles south of Chelsea. Troopers say a northbound truck hit Altman’s vehicle on the driver’s side. First responders had to use an extrication tool on Altman’s vehicle.

Altman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries and released after being transported to a Claremore hospital.
