Sticking with baseball, a week from Friday (May 30) the Doenges Toyota Indians will take the field at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium for the first time this summer.

The Tribe opens the season out of state. Bartlesville travels to the Wichita, Kansas metro for a double-header against a college club in the Kansas Curve on Tuesday evening.

Not 100-percent of the roster is in town for the summer yet, but the Indians have held several practices this week and Manager John Pannell says he has been encouraged.
