For the third time since their move to Oklahoma City, the Thunder has an NBA MVP. Joining former greats in Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was officially announced as the MVP last night.

It had seemed like a shoo-in for weeks.

Here was the announcement Wednesday afternoon on ESPN.

SGA had a press conference and then an interview live on TNT after the announcement. He continued to sing his teammate’s praises for the award.
