Pawhuska is wrapping up spring practice this week. Heading into summer workouts, coach Matt Hennesy feels comfortable with where his team is defensively, but as the Huskies bring in a new quarterback and other fresh faces around him, Hennesy knows there is plenty of work to be done on the offensive side of the ball.

Kane Foreman will be a senior quarterback and came from Copan with his father, Marshall, who will be an assistant on this year's Pawhuska team. Through three seasons as a Hornet, Kane Foreman threw for 6,200 yards and coming from an 8-man school, Hennesy says he still has lots to learn, but he is picking up the intricacies of 11-man football.

Pawhuska will have a two day team camp next week, while also hosting a passing league each week throughout the summer. Hennesy says this will be beneficial to Kane Foreman.

Copan lineman Jackson White and Bartlesville wide receiver Jarek Edwards are also coming to Pawhuska.
