We’ve had more coaching movement in football again this offseason, as four area high schools have gotten new coaches this semester.

We previously reported on new skippers at Copan, Caney Valley and Oklahoma Union. You can add Wesleyan Christian School to the list.

WCS will have its third head football coach in as many seasons after Blaine Landers is moving on to another position out of state this fall.

Landers is still in Bartlesville helping with the transition but will not coach the team this season. Assistant Fabian Quiroz is taking over this fall and is running the spring practices.

Landers took over for longtime head coach Curt Cloud last season.

We will have more on Quiroz and the new regime at WCS later this week
