Dewey Track and Field Wraps Up State Meet

Dewey track and field wrapped up the 3A state meet in Plainview on Saturday.
As a team, the Dewey girls finished seventh.
Individually on Saturday, on the girl's side, Lacey Nichols finished as the state runner-up in discus and Kyla Overton came in sixth.
On the track, Eden McKinney finished fifth in the 100 meter hurdles.
On the guy's side, Keidon Holt was the state runner-up in the 110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. Kavery Weathers finished fourth in the 300 meter hurdles.
The end of the state meet brings the 2025 track and field season for Dewey to a close.
