Local High School Baseball Update

As we enter the final stretch of high school baseball, we take a look at where things stand for each team in our area.
There's still a few schools kicking on the diamond to this point, but there are some teams that have been eliminated.
Copan and Barnsdall saw their seasons come to an end last week at regionals. The Copan Hornets finish the season 18-11 at the Class B level, the Barnsdall Panthers finished 23-10 and were ranked 11th in Class A going into the postseason.
At the 3A level, the Dewey Bulldoggers were eliminated at regionals late last week by Silo. The Doggers finished their season 20-15 overall.
Class 2A regionals start this week, beginning the postseason journey for Oklahoma Union, Nowata and Caney Valley. The Cougars of OKU are hosting a regional this year. They sport a 16-10 record and finished 2A-II ranked seventh. Nowata will head to Ketchum for regionals. Caney Valley competes in 2A-I, they are off to Dale for regionals, and Pawhuska heads to Panama for regionals this weekend.
At the 6A level, Bartlesville Bruin baseball opens regionals in Stillwater on Thursday afternoon against Sapulpa.
