Another big spring event on Tuesday, Bartlesville High slow pitch softball gets started with its 6A State Tournament.

BHS qualified after going 3-0 in its own Regional on Thursday afternoon in Bartlesville.

This is the third straight softball season that the Lady Bruins have been to State.

Head coach Kyle Minton puts that accomplishment into perspective.

Bartlesville swept through Claremore then Edmond Deer Creek twice to move on during the rain-delayed Regional late last week.

Minton talks about how the girls performed to move on to State.

The bracket is out as of this weekend. Bartlesville will face Moore at 1:00 in the afternoon on Tuesday in Shawnee at the Fire Lake Softball Complex.
