Bruin Baseball D-1 Guys Excel

Speaking of Bruin baseball, it was a good day for a couple former Bartlesville High standouts at the NCAA DI level on Sunday.
Former BHS ace Brenden Asher has settled into a Sunday starting role at ORU over the past few weeks with pretty good results of late. This past weekend in a double-header against St. Thomas Minnesota Asher started tossed six innings, allowed six hits, three runs, but only one earned.
He had one walk and one strikeout. ORU lost the game 3-1.
Meanwhile former Bruin Zeb Henry got a start at Wichita State Saturday and Sunday at second base. Henry went 1-1 with his first collegiate double in game two.
Henry made a couple starts at the end of this past weekend for the Shockers, logging a hit in both games.
