OKWU Women's Tennis Prepares for Nationals

Oklahoma Wesleyan women's tennis has qualified for the NAIA national championships.
The Lady Eagles head into the tournament as the KCAC runner-up, after a loss in the conference championship match to McPherson College. OKWU was the 3-seed in the tournament with a 17-5 record and 10-2 in conference play.
Going into the conference tournament, head coach Julia Mongin said she was proud of what the team has accomplished this season.
Mongin was named the KCAC Coach of the Year this season. Along with a first-team all-conference spot, Rocio Espinal was named KCAC Freshman of the Year. Nancy, Jewel and Madeline Henderson were KCAC honorable mentions.
The NAIA women's tennis national championships start on May 13 in Mobile, Alabama.
