Dewey Baseball Awaits Big Series With Lincoln Christian

Brian McSweeney
Dewey baseball has been on a roll this season, but now a big district set with Lincoln Christian awaits.
The Bulldoggers right now are 16-8 overall and sport a 4-2 district record, good for third place in 3A-7. Dewey has won two of their last four and six of their last eight. They run-ruled Pawhuska on Friday, 15-6.
Lincoln Christian enters below .500 overall at 12-13, but they sit atop the district standings with a 6-2 record. Lincoln Christian has gone cold lately, they've lost six of their last eight.
Dewey's district has been incredibly competitive, five of the seven teams in it are .500 or better in district play. With such a competitive district, head coach Riley Allen is looking for more out of his pitchers in district action.
Dewey will be at home on Monday for game one before heading on the road to Lincoln Christian on Tuesday to finish off the two game set.
First pitch for both days is set for 4:30 p.m.
