Copan to Get New Football Coach

Another football coaching change in Washington County this week.
Former Copan head football coach Marshall Foreman has resigned his position with the Hornets to take an assistant coaching job at Pawhuska.
Foreman will coach under Husky skipper Matt Hennesy, as his son, senior quarterback Kane Foreman, will now finish out his high school career at the 11-man level in Pawhuska.
The Hornets had just completed one of the better turnarounds in the area, hosting a playoff game for the first time in 16 years this past fall. Despite both the Foreman’s departures, Copan will still have a large core of upperclassmen returning from an 8-3 team that finished second in its Class B District from last season.
Copan will name a new coach this week after its school board meeting.
