Bruin Baseball Pounds NW Classen

Bartlesville High baseball has won four of its last six and got back to .500 in District play and above .500 overall with a couple blowout wins on Monday evening.
BHS demolished NW Classen in a double-header, 22-0 and 13-0. Both were run-rule wins.
Bartlesville won the first in four innings and the second in five. Four Bruin pitchers combined to allow zero hits over the nine innings of play in Kaden Romesburg, Sterling Kroh, Barrett Merciez and Braxton Loudermilk.
Meanwhile Bartlesville had success at the plate, as well. No one did better than Sam Marcella, who finished a perfect 6-6 at the plate. He had two multi-RBI doubles in game one, including this one that got the scoring going.
In game two BHS scored its 13 runs off 10 hits. Eight of them came in a 10-run third inning. Hunter Shea roped this shot down the line to tally another big double.
Bartlesville gets back to 2-2 in 6A District 4 action and the Bruins are now 8-6 overall.
A big weekend at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium, as Bartlesville will host its annual Bruin Classic starting on Thursday. BHS off on Tuesday and Wednesday.
