OKWU Basketball Nears Tournament Opener

Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball is just one day away from tip-off in Sioux Center, Iowa, to start play in the NAIA tournament.
The Eagles enter the regional rounds with a record of 23-7. They went 19-3 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference to secure the automatic bid to the tournament as regular season conference champions.
In round one, they'll meet an in-state opponent in an out-of-state contest in Mid-America Christian University out of Oklahoma City. The Eagles enter the tournament as the 7-seed with MACU as the 10-seed in the Liston quadrant of the bracket.
Head coach Donnie Bostwick says that when the time comes to play, his guys have to be ready to move.
The Eagles and Evangels will tip-off at 1:30 p.m. with a spot in the second round on Saturday on the line. Saturday's game would also be in Sioux Center on the campus of Dordt University.
