Bruin Baseball Loses to BA Rd. 2

Bartlesville High baseball dropped the second game of its two-game set with Broken Arrow on Tuesday night at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

BHS came closer, but fell to the Tigers, 6-0.

Bartlesville again struggled with the bats, as the Bruins did nto get a hit against BA pitching. Barrett Merciez kept BHS in it, he held the Tigers scoreless for four frames before they got the offense going a bit later in the game.

Bartlesville committed five errors in the contest. Merciez went 5.1, allowed six runs, but only one earned. He had seven strikeouts and two walks.

Bartlesville drops to 3-4 with the loss. The Bruins are back into action again on Thursday against Holland Hall.
