Bartlesville High baseball is back into action on Monday with its first District series of the year.

BHS travels to Broken Arrow before the Bruins and Tigers have round two in Bartlesville on Tuesday night.

The Bruins are off to a 3-2 start to begin 2025 following a nice win over Oologah on Saturday, 5-3.

Bartlesville scratched across the win despite being out-hit 9-4. BHS took nine walks in the contest, while Hunter Shae against pitched well, he went 5.2 and give up only three runs with four strikeouts.

Head coach Cody Price says early this season, his guys are battling at the plate better than a year ago.

The BA series provides Bartlesville with a chance to give one of the biggest schools in the District a loss in a head-to-head.

Price isn’t shying away from saying this first District series is a big one.

BA is also 3-2 with back-to-back losses to Newcastle and Enid entering the contest.

A 6:00 first pitch in Broken Arrow on Monday night.
