Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball officially got the word of their destination for round one of the NAIA tournament.

The Eagles are off to Sioux Center, Iowa at Dordt University, for a date with Mid-America Christian University. They are the 7-seed in the Liston quadrant of the bracket.

Here's how it sounded on the selection show.

MACU will enter the tournament with an overall record of 22-8 and a 17-7 record against teams in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Head coach Donnie Bostwick talks about the familiar faces this matchup brings.

Tichic Fikipo, an assistant coach with the Evangels, is also a former OKWU Eagle.

OKWU and MACU met in the second round of the NAIA tournament last year in a 76-58 win for the Eagles.

The Eagles and Evangels will tip-off in Iowa on March 14 with a time TBA.
