Season in Review: Caney Valley Trojans

Caney Valley Trojan basketball came to a close last week in the consolation rounds of regionals. With their season now in the rearview, we look back at their season this year.
The Trojans finished the season 6-19 with a young squad that overcame adversity with injuries and illness. Head coach Tug Brinker talks about how his guys were able to stay in games while being shorthanded.
The Trojans will have lots of players returning such as Zac Longan and Speck Gann. The Trojans will lose five seniors for next year's squad, all of which had sizeable minutes throughout the season.
The Caney Valley Trojans will return again for the 2025-26 campaign around late November.
