Arvest Bank announces the promotion of Nicholas Moody to commercial loan manager serving Bartlesville, Dewey and Nowata.

“Nicholas will be an outstanding leader for the commercial lending team at Arvest,” said loan manager Jay Dyer. "He has already demonstrated solid commercial lending expertise, has outstanding customer interaction, and is very involved in the communities he serves. He's a great fit for the Arvest culture." 

Moody began his banking career in commercial lending in 2019 and joined Arvest in March 2024. Prior to banking, Moody was an agriculture education instructor, most recently with the Oklahoma Union Public Schools, where he also worked with students through FFA, instilling leadership skills and helping them gain valuable experiences.

Moody has a Bachelor of Science in agriculture education from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Education from North Carolina State University. Moody is also a graduate of the Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) commercial lending school and intermediate banking school.

Moody serves on the Boards of Directors for The Journey Home and East Cross Church and was a chamber advocate from 2020-2024. His professional associations include the Oklahoma Bankers Association Agricultural Committee, the Oklahoma Farm Bureau and American Farmers and Ranchers.
