WCS Basketball Stays Alive

Wesleyan Christian School boys hoops still kicking in the Class A Area Tournament.
Mustangs stayed alive with another close win. WCS beat Pond Creek Hunter on Thursday afternoon, 44-40.
Wesleyan Christian is now two wins from State. To get there, the Mustangs will have to beat Summitt Christian, their opponent Friday afternoon is the same club that handed WCS their only loss of the playoffs thus far.
Summitt Christian beat WCS 60-36 in the District title round more than a week ago.
Head coach Steven Cooks is glad his team gets another shot at them.
Summit beat Garber on Thursday, 55-50 to stay alive. A 2:30 tip from Cleveland on Friday afternoon.
