The Pawhuska Lady Huskies were in need of winning three games in three days to make the Class 2A state tournament. That started on Thursday, as they needed to get a victory over Fairview. The Lady Yellowjackets got the walk-off win, 52-51. Here is how that final sequence sounded.

Foul trouble plagued Pawhuska. Madison Easley and Maddie Reynolds fouled out, meaning Laney Hough had to come in and play the final four minutes. That was the first meaningful time she had seen all year, but she made the most out of it by forcing a turnover and draining a three-pointer to tie the game with two minutes remaining.

Pawhuska trailed for a vast majority of the game. In the third quarter, the Lady Huskies trailed by as much as 11. Following a Fairview bucket that gave the Lady Jackets their largest lead of the night, Maddie Reynolds made this clutch three-pointer to help Pawhuska climb back in it.

That three-pointer was part of a 10-0 run to close the third quarter for Pawhuska. Fairview had a 38-37 lead entering the final frame and from there, it was back and forth throughout. Fairview held a 19-18 lead at halftime and the Lady Huskies had a lead early at 9-2.

Brooklyn Miles led all scorers. Pawhuska finishes the year 22-5.
