Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball opens up KCAC tournament play on Wednesday in a home contest against Evangel University.

The OKWU men clinched their fourth straight KCAC regular season championship on Saturday afternoon with a win over McPherson College. They closed the regular season out on a 13 game winning streak and have clinched an automatic bid to the NAIA national tournament.

The Eagles went 22-6 overall and 19-3 in conference play during the regular season.

Head coach Donnie Bostwick talked about how crucial the opportunity is to host conference tournament games.

As the top seed, the Eagles will be at home for every game they play in this conference tournament.

OKWU swept Evangel this season in two blowouts. They beat the Valor in Bartlesville on Jan. 22, 103-71, and beat them again in Springfield, Missouri on Feb. 20, 84-51.

Tip-off from the Mueller Sports Center will be at 7 p.m. with simulcast coverage on KPGM, 99.1 FM, and KWON, AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
