Finals and Other Info from 2/24:

The Dewey girls dropped their district playoff to the Commerce girls, 51-39. They will face elimination in a rematch with Sperry on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Claremore.

Dewey guys blasted Commerce to open the postseason on Monday night in Commerce, 83-55. The win advances Dewey to the winner’s bracket of Regionals to take on Sequoyah (Claremore) in Claremore. Tip-off is Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.

Nowata guys pulled away down the stretch to get a 45-36 victory over Pawhuska and end the Huskies season. 

The Wesleyan Christian School guys are headed to Area, congrats to head coach Steven Cooks and the Mustangs for making their second straight trip to Area. They beat Ripley, 51-48 to punch their ticket. WCS will face Pond Creek Hunter at 2:30 on Thursday afternoon in an elimination game in Cleveland.

The Copan boys had their season come to an end, Hornets fell to Lomega in an elimination game, 68-50.

The Shidler girls ended South Coffeyville’s season, as South Town fell 63-56. Lady Lions finished one win shy of Area.

The Caney Valley girls are still alive. Lady Trojans beat Wyandotte yesterday, 34-24. They will face Fairland this afternoon at 1:00 for a chance at Area.

Caney Valley Trojan guys did lost to Wyandotte, 84-48 to end their season.
