Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball returns to action for the final time of the regular season on Saturday as both Eagle squads host McPherson College.
OKWU is coming off of a split against Evangel University on Thursday on the road. The women lost by nine, the men won by 33.
Saturday’s game will be the last of the season for the Lady Eagles. They sit at 12-15 overall and 9-12 in the KCAC and are ninth in the conference standings. They have lost their last two games on the schedule, but have won two of their last three at home.
McPherson enters the women’s game without a win, but head coach Heidi Messer expects McPherson to be a competitive challenge.
The OKWU men have a chance to clinch a regular season conference championship with a win. The Eagles have won 12 straight games, the latest coming on the season series sweep of Evangel on Thursday, 84-51.
