Bruin Hoops Head to Ponca

Playoff basketball for some, postponements for others and a regular season finale for Bartlesville High all on tap for local hoops across the area today.
The Bartlesville High basketball games at Ponca City are still on, as the Bruins and Lady Bruins will wrap up the regular season against the Wildcats before playoffs start next weekend in 6A.
For the Bruin guys, it is the best stretch of basketball BHS has played, although it’s been without any wins. Bartlesville battled Sapulpa, NW Classen and Jenks in three of its final five District games. The Bruins lost all of them by no more than two possessions.
First time through the schedule those are three games Bartlesville lost by a combined 94 points. Second time through the schedule the Bruins lost them by seven combined points.
Head coach Tommy DeSalme says he is happy some younger guys are growing up.

Double-header scheduled to start at 6:30 for the girls, 8:00 for the guys.
We will have both games on KWON with video coverage on KWONTV.com.
