In Thursday night's game at Pawnee, the Pawhuska Lady Huskies reclaimed a stride they lost on Tuesday. The boys lost another heartbreaker.

Maggie Green suffered a season ending leg injury in Tuesday's loss at Garber. Maddie Reynolds replaced her in the starting lineup and after a slow start, the new look Lady Huskies came together and went on to get a 51-26 victory. Here is Brooklyn Miles giving Pawhuska its first double digit lead of the game in the waning moments of the first half.

Hannah Reynolds led all scorers for Pawhuska, scoring 28 points.

The boys suffered another gut-wrenching defeat, falling to the Blackbears, 49-48. Pawhuska held a seven-point lead midway through the third quarter, but that lead quickly disapated and the fourth quarter was a back and forth affair.

With 1:49 remaining and Pawnee leading by two, it was the sophomore Darian West taking it strong to the goal for a layup that tied the game at 46.

On the made field goal, a technical foul was called against Pawhuska. Pawnee made one of two free throws and added a basket to take a three-point lead with 21 seconds left. Dax Godsey drove it strong to the goal trimming the lead to one with five seconds left.

Pawnee was fouled with two seconds left. After missing the first, a line violation was called on the second so Pawhuska was able to call a timeout and draw up a play, but Godsey's shot from half court hit off the backboard.

Godsey finished in double figures for Pawhuska.

Pawhuska will now host Newkirk later tonight as part of Youth Night. Tipoff will be at 6 p.m. That game can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
