Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball returns to the court on Wednesday for another doubleheader with Southwestern University in Bartlesville.

Last time around for both teams against Southwestern, it was a sweep in Winfield, Kansas on Dec. 11. The women won, 95-85, the men squeaked one out, 75-71.

Both OKWU squads are coming off of a three-game road trip. The Lady Eagles went 1-2 with a win over Avila in overtime last week and losses to Bethany and Tabor. The OKWU men won all three games by double digits.

The Lady Eagles enter the homestand with a record of 10-12 and a 7-9 conference record. They are ninth in the conference and sit two games out of a conference tournament spot.

The Eagles are 16-6 and 13-3 in conference play. They have won seven straight, all seven by double digits. They share the conference lead with Friends University.

The women’s game will tip-off first at 5 p.m. with the men to follow at 7 p.m. from the Mueller Sports Center.
