Bulldogger basketball won a back-and-forth game against Oklahoma Union on Tuesday night, 52-46. Dewey takes the season series over OKU with the win, 2-1.

In a tight game throughout, the largest lead for the first three quarters going either way was four, with OKU leading 18-14 early. The Cougars led by just one at the half, 27-26. Outside shooting was the key in the second quarter, including this sequence to stretch the lead to four.

The second half saw even tighter defense than the first, as Dewey began their push. The Bulldoggers tried to keep their distance for the majority of the second half, but OKU kept hanging around. This sequence kept OKU within a possession.

Oklahoma Union could not find the knockout punch as Dewey survived to win, thanks to stellar free throw shooting from Zach Renfroe.

Dewey with the win improves to 9-8, OKU drops to 9-10.

The Dewey girls also came away with a win. They blew out OKU to improve to 9-7.
