Neither Bartlesville High team had any luck on Friday in tournament play, as both the Lady Bruins and Bruins will wrap up weekend road tournament action on Saturday afternoon.

On the guy’s side a good-scoring first half turned into a lopsided result in round two of the John Nobles Tournament in Moore. South Central Prep out of Bixby beat the Bruins, 72-28.

Bartlesville shot the ball well in the first half. This Luke Massey three-pointer kept the Bruins hanging around. 

BHS will try to get a win in the event against Moore JV on Saturday morning at 11:30. We will have that game on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.

On the girl’s side, the Lady Bruins fell in the semifinals of the Lady Raider Frontenac Four State Classic. Blue Valley Southwest topped BHS, 58-51.

BVSW is a 5A school from the Kansas City metro.

Bartlesville girls will play for third in the tourney at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning.
