The BHS boys lost but Lady Bruin girls won in Tournament play on Thursday.

Bartlesville guys fell in the first round of the Bruin’s tournament in Moore. It was the hosting Moore Lions over BHS 66-32. Bartlesville again struggled offensively, particularly in the first half. BHS only had 10 points at halftime.

Things heated up a bit later. Nash Zervas had this basket to help get the Bruins going.

Bartlesville drops game one of the event and plays in the consolation bracket on Friday morning at 11:30 against South Central Prep. SC Prep lost a close game to Westmoore on Thursday in the first round.

Meanwhile on the girl’s side, BHS is 1-0. Bartlesville beat up on the host-club Frontenac Lady Raiders, 62-40 to get to 1-0 in the Four State Classic.

BHS will play in the semifinals at 4:00 this afternoon. BHS girls improve to 8-5 with the win.
